I got asked 2 questions in the comments on my last post.

1) Did you get your hair cut?

Yes! I got it chopped off. It's a lot shorter, and I love it. I also got new glasses. ;-)

Well Sue, I'm not sure where you're getting the 15 sts from, as you should only have 9 sts after the cast on. The next RS row you k3 (yo, k1) 3 times, k3, which gives you 12 sts, and the next row you increase another 2 sts giving you 15, but the pattern never says anything about 15 sts specifically. So whatever it is you did was correct and perhaps you're just reading the pattern incorrectly.
