A meme and clarification

It was clear from a couple of the comments yesterday that I made my work place sound kind of horrible. My work place isn't horrible, although there are days when I just want to leave. I work for a small business, everyone in the office knows each other and gets along. My office sells piping, there are inside sales guys, outside sales guys (they schmooze with the customers), warehouse guys, the owners, and the girls in accounting (including me and the secretary). The girls have our own little room, which is okay. It means I have to be with my supervisor (mentioned in the previous post) who irks me to no end some days.

Most of the political drama I've had in the office is with the outside sales guys. They, however are only in the office Monday, Wednesday, and Friday morning because they spend the rest of the time doing really hard work like taking the customers out to lunch and to sporting events and just generally kissing their butts.

The one sales guy (racist joke guy) isn't the most popular man in the office. I told Dee that he's more like the Crazy Uncle that no one really likes, but puts up with anyway. I don't have to see him too often.

Also, I am treated exceptionally well by the company. I'm in college so I get to make my own schedule. Even though I'm part time, I get 2 weeks of paid vacation (that's 40 hours total, since I'm part time), I also have a high salary in comparison to work that students normally get. Not to mention at least once a week someone brings in some kind of free food, donuts, bagels, a luncheon (usually from a vendor schmoozing us). It's generally a familial atmosphere around the office, and only around the election was I ever really upset with any of my coworkers (with the exception of my supervisor, she's one of those passive-aggressive, if I do something wrong "everyone makes mistakes" but if you do something wrong I'm going to tell you that you did it every time and I'm out to get the secretary for no reason even though she's the best one we've had ever types.).
